With the free account, you can explore the app with one product. Tegata gives you the answer about a specific product, whenever you need it. Ōdana keeps an eye on your products: their up-to-date report, their partners, their market and their launch price, with the option to pay monthly or for the whole year with two months free. The payment plans are for businesses and professionals and are invoiced excluding VAT: if your business is based in the EU, you declare it yourself (reverse charge).

How Ōdana products work
- Before you pay, you’ll know what cover we offer. When you add a product using its HS code, we’ll let you know whether its regulatory framework has been reviewed, whether there are partners for it, and whether we have market data for it. If the data is limited, we’ll let you know, and if you sign up for a plan, we’ll start working on that product that very same day.
- His report is kept up to date. It is updated whenever there is a change that affects it, whenever we review the database for your sector, and at least every 90 days, and we will let you know.
- A product remains on the shelf for at least 30 days. You can then swap it for another one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. The monthly Ōdana subscription has no minimum contract period: you can cancel it via «My Account» and it won’t renew the following month. With the annual subscription, you can cancel the renewal at any time. With both options, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
Can I try the app before I pay?
Yes: that’s what the free Shōnin account is for. You can explore the app with your product: we’ll tell you what cover we offer for it, and you can view its requirements report for Japan, its market, the price calculator and a recommended partner to start with. No card required and no expiry date. To keep your report up to date, ask the Assistant, view all partners and add more products, Ōdana.
What if I stop paying?
You can keep the latest report for each product, without any updates, and save it as a PDF.
Is there a limit to the number of questions you can ask the Assistant?
Enquiries about your products are subject to a ‘reasonable use’ limit, which you won’t notice during a company’s day-to-day operations. If you need to, please contact us and we’ll increase the limit.
Monthly or annually?
Ōdana is the same in both plans: the same products, adverts, partners and Assistant. The annual plan comes with two months’ free access, and priority processing of any outstanding product orders is available from day one (with the monthly plan, this starts from the fourth month). The monthly plan has no minimum contract period. If you start with the monthly plan and switch to the annual plan within the first two months, we’ll deduct the amount you’ve already paid.
Who can hire Ōdana or Tegata?
Businesses, self-employed individuals and professionals. When you pay, we ask for your NIF or CIF, and the invoice is issued in your name or in your company’s name. Shōnin is free and does not require tax details.
How do I pay?
By card, via a secure payment. The price you see is what you pay: we invoice from Japan, excluding VAT. If your company is based in the EU, you are responsible for declaring the VAT under the reverse charge mechanism, and this is indicated on the invoice. If it is based in Japan, 10 % consumption tax is added.
